SUMMER GAME FEST '08 #2:

When: Saturday, August 30th - 10am - 9pm

Where: Lindale Mall - 4444 1st Ave. NE - Lower level

Details: Gamers of all ages can participate in or watch Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic: The Gathering, or Heroscape tournaments, casual play or demonstsrations. Representatives from Central Corridor Gamers will be available to share insights about the camaraderie and social benefits the group has to offer the youth of our community.

Anyone wearing a Freedom Festival button will be entered into a special door prize drawing to be held at the end of the day. Winners need not be present to win.

Current events include:

  • Yu-Gi-Oh tournaments
  • Magic: The Gathering Standard Constructed tournament
  • Magic: The Gathering Booster Drafts*
  • HeroScape tournament
  • Demonstrations for Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic: The Gathering, & HeroScape
  • Open gaming for all aforementioned games

* Nearly all of our events will be free of charge. The only exception will be Magic: The Gathering booster drafts. There will be 2 different types of Booster Drafts. One type will have a $12 entry. The other type will have a $9 entry. To find out more about the why there is a price difference, stop by the Summer Game Fest and ask a representative. 8 participants will be required for every draft so bring your friends.

All Magic: The Gathering events will be coordinated by Organizers, Charlie Nehl and Matt Britten. Most events will be sanctioned so bring your DCI card. If you don't have one, we will provide you with one.

Prizes will be awarded to tournament winners. Door prizes may be available to those who participate in game demonstrations.
